UCL Students' Design Competition

For the 5th year IStructE's North Thames Branch (NTB) has sponsored a design competition for final year students of University College London (UCL).rnStudents of different disciplines were grouped into four teams. Two teams worked on the River Severn Power Barrage, a third covered Milford Haven Port, and the fourth Maplin Sands Airport. The prime objective of all the projects was to enhance the local economy while safeguarding the environment.
