Centenaries are, by any standard, occasions for celebration, and The Institution of Structural Engineers has more than its fair share of achievements to celebrate. One hundred years on, we can look back at a remarkable history of progress and development worldwide. Those who founded the Institution in 1908 would be astonished at what has been accomplished by the profession in the intervening 100 years, and they would be very proud of their legacy.
