CIC contract unites construction professions on services

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has published a new multi-disciplinary form for use across the UK by experienced clients appointing teams of consultants on major building projects. The CIC Consultants' Contract and Scope of Services sets out the tasks for all members of the project team in the design and definition process. As design work by consultants is no longer separate from that undertaken by others the document can be used for the appointment of consultants on the CIC Conditions or specialists and contractors on other forms of contract.
