How does industry see academic research in structural engineering in the UK? Is it meeting the current and future needs of practitioners?rnThe Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is currently undertaking a review of UK academic research in the area of ground and structural engineering. The review panel, made up of a number of UK academics and practitioners, includes Mike Banfi, Associate Director at Arup and chairman of the Institution's Research Panel.
