Professional conduct

The Institution receives many telephone and other enquiries throughout the year, from clients, members and others, relating to members' professional conduct, although it is not involved in the resolution of disputes and makes no comments on the behaviour o performance of members. Information is, however, provided regarding the code of conduct and its enforcement through the Institution's disciplinary process. An outcome of some of these exchanges is the issue by the Institution of around 100 Complainant's Forms each year, together with information about the complaints process.
