Amp trainees meet the professionals

Professional career development and training advice has been delivered to 50 new trainees from a host of engineering membership institutions at Arup's first annual Technician Induction Day. Supported by the global engineering firm's UK Middle East and Africa Board - the event, held on 22 September at the Midlands Campus, was targeted at 2011 new starters and existing UK technicians. It covered wide ranging learning and development career options as well as the typical career progression from a technical trainee position to a senior technician, CAD Manager, Associate and beyond.
