SER registration

As a follow up to my letter published in the Journal (Verulam, 87/14,21 July 2009) to which Dr Sue Doran replied regarding SER registration, I put forward my reservations. Since then I did actually register for SER and achieved the status SER certifier for Scotland and Jersey (and also approved body for my former company). Since then I have set up as a sole trader and have decided not to re-register. I still have many concerns about SER as a practice for England, having experienced the registration process. Also, I do not feel that I have had sufficient response with respect to my concerns about restrictive practice.
