Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in Structural Design

For this post, interest and experience in structural design is essential. We are looking for an individual who is or may have been a practitioner, who is passionate about transferring their knowledge and skills to students. The teaching commitments will be in structural design, and in particular design for structural steelwork at both undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc in Structural Engineering) levels. You will join the Structural Engineering group within the School's Institute for Resilient Infrastructure and will have a strong industrial background to support departmental research and/or teaching and learning activities. Your experience must complement current areas of structural engineering expertise within the School. A strong feature of teaching at Leeds is the extensive use of design project work and you would be expected to bring enthusiasm and practical skills to this area of the curriculum.
