Preventing hazard risk - an industry challenge

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published a report, RR834 Preventing catastrophic events in construction, that focuses on the prevention of hazardous events in the construction industry. It is available from the HSE website.The HSE commissioned the Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) to produce the report which examines actual and potential major hazard or 'catastrophic' events. The report highlights areas for industry action.
