'A thousand years of timber roofs' at Weald & Downland open air museum

A conference at Weald & Downland Open Air Museum to celebrate an early 18th century house coming out of storage and the 10th anniversary of the revolutionary Downland Gridshell, will be held on Friday 21 September 2012. The finishing touches are now being added to the dismantled 18th century Tindall's cottage to get it ready for re-erection over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd September and the Museum celebrates the tenth anniversary of the building of the iconic and innovative Downland Gridshell.
