House of Lords to review subterranean developments

Concern at the rapid growth of unregulated extensions of property below ground (subterranean/basement developments) has led to the introduction in the House of Lords of a private members Bill, the 'Subterranean Development Bill'. The Bill, introduced by Lord Selsdon, is in response to demands of residents and other property owners for better protection from adjacent, or nearby, redevelopment involving underground and related construction work.
