The book is written predominantly for the United States market, with emphasis on the rules and regulations that apply in the US. There are however, many similarities with UK and other legislation (albeit using slightly different terminology) making it a useful, informative guide on the history, usage and health effects of asbestos. The author has used boxes and tables throughout the text to illustrate key points.
