BS EN 1990 combination rules

Alasdair Beal writes from Leeds regarding the application of the imposed load combination rules according to BS EN 1990. I have a quiz question for those who are using Eurocodes for design. BS EN 1990 Cl. 6.4.3 equations 6.10, 6.10a and 6.10b give rules for applying load factors where a member supports a combination of separate 'variable actions'. However Cl. 6.4.3 does not give any guidance on which imposed loadings may be considered as separate actions and which may not.
