Managing Health & Safety Risks

Training requirements and guidelines were established by IRATA International (formerly the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive. With over 200 members around the world, IRATA is now established as a leading authority. Member companies provide training or operational services, or both. Globally, a number of other associations have also been established, including The Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) and the Cooperative body for rope access (SOFT) in the US and Norway respectively.
