Further to your comment in the March 2015 issue about the ability to draw (sketch) and costs, I would guess that Leonardo da Vinci, who was mentioned as an example of somebody who could draw well, was probably not concerned about costs. He started many paintings but only finished a few. I think there are only 16 finished paintings around today. The Abbot who complained about the time he was taking to paint his famous mural - The Last Supper - was dissuaded from pursuing the case by inviting him to be the model for Judas!
