Judging by Verulam's postbag, last month's Profile of Chris Wise has clearly struck a chord - or a nerve - with readers. In this issue, we publish two letters in response to Chris's views (page 52). Andy Greenwood feels that Chris does the profession a disservice by belittling the role of engineers who work on the less glamorous projects which make up the bulk of our built environment.
