The UK news is gripped by election fever! It seems to have been that way pretty much constantly over the past few years. The Scottish independence referendum, the EU referendum and now a pending general election. Abroad, the UK has watched as both the USA and France have elected new Presidents, mindful that policies in these countries will also impact on UK decision making. Hong Kong has elected a new Chief Executive and elsewhere, too, the world has or is about to witness new rounds of elections to key leadership positions.
