Timelapse video shows raising of bridge pylon for New Wear Crossing

Drone and timelapse footage of the raising of Sunderland's impressive bridge centrepiece has been released. The footage shows the two-day operation to lift the 100m A-frame structure into place over the River Wear in the city.
