Let me summarize what I take to be the central argument of the book. Since the question of Being is presupposed by all kinds of philosophizing, there is no philosophy without an understanding and remnant of Being.

    essential point. He transforms nihilism into a sort of positive enterprise - generational logic of remaining. Does this transformation change the political agenda? What I am missing in this book - and that is my first problem with it - is an engagement with certain goal, aims, and positions. The question of why one should get committed to the ontology of remnants and the logic of remaining remains unanswered. My second problem is with the efficacy of the ontology of remnants to solve genuine postmetaphysical problems.
