NS faces trouble over foreign bank accounts

DUTCH public transport passengers'organisation ROVER has submitted an official complaint to the Netherlands Transport Ministry concerning NS, the monopoly operator on the core network. NS is accused of discrimination in that it will only make off-peak rail passes available to those passengers with a Netherlands bank account; the same ruling applies to paying out of compensation for late running.
