Mission systems tested ashore

Each of the two Queen Elizabeth class ships will house more than 14,000 separate pieces of mission system equipment, covering everything from televisions for the crew's entertainment to the on-board sensors that will help defend the ships from attack.Engineers are installing elements of the equipment for HMS Queen Elizabeth into a special facility at the Royal Navy's maritime warfare school, HMS Collingwood, near Portsmouth, to ensure they perform exactly as they should on the ships themselves.
