In the battle to retain European shipbuilding, Korean practices are increasingly being viewed negatively as possible action is mooted. Europe's politicians are slowly beginning to appreciate the increasingly rapid decline of its shipbuilding industry, and the impact that its loss will have on the European Union. Yet realising that there is a problem and being able to do anything about it might prove a major challenge.
