When you next attend for your pilot medical examination, you may find that your Authorised Medical Examiner (AME) will download the results of your examination direct from his computer direct to the CAA medical database (for his also read her). At the time of writing (January 2004) the AME on Line system has been tested and will shortly be implemented. This will initially be to 50 AMEs and then, if successful, to the rest.
