There comes a time in everybody's career when you start to look for the next step up the ladder. If you're hoping for advancement within your own company, this will probably depend on seniority, but there's no reason not to give things a helping hand. Remember: for the ambitious pilot, anybody further up than you in the seniority list is in your way and needs to be ruthlessly trampled underfoot as you fight your way up the greasy pole. So if you see mistakes and errors being made, check the senioritylist to determine if the person making the mistake is junior or senior to you, and if they're senior be sure to drop them in it by filing an ASR -purely in the interests of safety obviously! If however they're junior to you, offer a helping hand, after all they may be an even better, and more ruthless trampler than yourself, and one day end up as your manager, in which case keeping them on-side would probably be a smart idea.
