CHANGES to BALPA EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Following a review of BALPA services the National Executive Council has decided to deliver 'employment services' in a primarily 'online' way. The service previously offered high level personal support to aspiring commercial pilots and those wanting to follow their careers. But with the labour supply tightening and with surveys showing that members want to see BALPA invest its finite resources in extending its core bargaining function on terms and conditions, it has been decided to focus on delivering generic employment and career advice via the BALPA website.
