BALPA'S BID FOR SAFE FLYING

BALPA has teamed up with ESCO-Zodiac Aerospace (Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation) forrnthis year's annual conference. The event is one of the few opportunities for key pilots from all the major airlines to meet and have their say on the future of their industry.This year's theme is 'making everyrnflight a safe flight', which is the core belief behind ESCO's product. Together with the Federal Aviation Administration they have developed EMASMAX, an engineered material arresting system that safely decelerates commercialrnaircraft in overrun situations.
