TWO MEN IN A BOAT

As I wait for the crew bus to take us to the aircraft I glance at the cover of the latest copy of YachtingrnWorld.The heading'lronman Ocean Racing'grabs my attention.The article is centred around our closest competitor on the'Shetland Round Britain and Ireland 2010' race and gives an insight into a race that's said to be one of the most challenging yacht races in the world. My dad and I took on this challenge and in our 35-foot racer/ cruiser joined 55 other boats to race around the UK, Ireland and every rock and outcrop of this varied and rugged land. In doing so we shared one of the greatest adventures a father and son could hope for.
