You can't be a sensitive soul as a pilot these days. The global warming/climate change zealots are slowly being exposed, but this particular snowball (ho ho) has gathered so much momentum that it will take more than exposing data fiddling or gross exaggeration to bring it to a halt. With businesses, taxation, and political and academic reputations on the line,the problem is probably insurmountable, but you can't be a pilot these days without being held personally responsible for the poor little polar bear cub stranded on an overgrown ice-cube melting before your very eyes.
