Pilots and the medical fraternity have the same essential professional duty: Thou shalt not harm thy customers. The December/January Log suggested that the draft'Pilot's Charter'was akin to the medical 'Hippocratic Oath'. (That injunction above is a precis of the third item of the Oath.) Whilst the comparison and the six points in the draft are undoubtedly valid, there are inevitable differences between the relationship of the two professions and their'customers'.
