BALPA Pensions Trustee Training

BALPA is running a one-day course designed for members that are currently Member Nominated Trustees, who are seeking a refresher course, and also those members who are seeking to take the position of a Member Nominated Trustee, either now or in the immediate future. The course includes the role and duties of trustees, together with an exposure to understanding trust deeds and the funding of pension schemes. In addition, there will be an introduction to what is expected of a trustee at meetings, which will include stewardship of records, conflicts of interest and responsible management of investments, valuations and de-risking.
