Mr Hammond made a comment about "the torrent of regulation which comes from Europe", which allowed BALPA the opportunity to ask an open question . about the flight time regulations that Europe has developed, lain Stewart,: in keeping with previous contact we havehad, was very supportive of our position and assured us that the Transport Select Committee was very concerned about the latest version of the rules.
