Those with an interest in the feared Ju87 Stuka dive-bomber may already know the autobiography of Hans Rudel, whose war was fought on the Eastern Front. Memoirs of a Stuka Pilotby Helmut Mahlke is a better-written (and better-translated) account of Mahlke's eventful career flying the Stuka in every major Western combat theatre of World War Two. He started off in the German Navy of the 1930s, where he was selected and trained to fly the Stuka from the aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin.
