The professional affairsteam, together with trained representatives, are all on hand to help pilots in their hour of need. Pilots are regularly helped through stressful, frustrating and often time-consuming disciplinary processes that can be instigated for the most spurious of reasons. Recently, BALPA helped a pilot remain in employment when he was potentially facing the rather bewilderingly career-terminating proceedings for simply doing his job.
