Q: I work for a large low-cost airline and recently submitted a request for flexible working. I submitted my request using the template form from the Gov.UK website and have had a meeting with my line manager. I have just received a letter stating that my request has been turned down but it offers very little with respect to an explanation. I understand that I have the right to appeal and would like to know what to expect if I decide to do so.
