The economic projection work by JAA provides us with clear evidence that this approach is justified. Our strategy attempts to define guidelines as to which buildings should be lit, to promote high quality, well considered lighting of a scale appropriate for the building, using the most energy-efficient technology available. Many of our schemes have adopted a 'light touch' with only a few having extensive designs.
