LESSONS FOR THE FUTURE

Reviewing this year and looking forward to the year ahead it is pretty clear that most of the activity of the ILP in the architectural field is split pretty much into learning and promotion. The How to Be Brilliant series of talks has grown on the success of last year and we are lucky to have an extremely diverse and excellent group of speakers. The year kicked off with Florence Lam, global leader of lighting at Arup, talking about team work, followed by Michael Grubb explaining a little of his creative process, and Neil Knowles sharing his extensive portfolio of hotel and leisure work and the techniques that result in five-star lighting environments. We've also been lucky enough to welcome Rebecca Weir talking about residential lighting and James Siddle on making the transition from student to employed lighting professional.
