Engineering students take to the streets for Enable Ireland

Almost 50 engineering students from TCD, UCD and DIT took to the streets in Dublin's city centre for an on-street charity collection in aid of Enable Ireland on Innovation Day during Engineers Week 2011. Despite wet and miserable weather conditions the students managed to raise over €1,100 for Enable Ireland on the day. Julie Goggins of Engineers Ireland and the Engineering Society Executive Committees of TCD, UCD and DIT Bolton St recently presented the funds to John Tiernan of Seat Tech Services, Enable Ireland.
