Decision making is an essential part of a manager's job and manager Neil Hirst of Damartex UK in Bingley, says that recruiting Stephen Carter was one of the best decisions his company has made. Like everyone else who works at the Damartex call centre, Stephen had to go through a rigorous selection process which included several interviews and an assessment day before he was offered a job. Stephen has cerebral palsy which affects the right side of his,body but this has not stopped him from moving up the career ladder. Having been with the company for just a year, Stephen was recently promoted to Trainee Team Leader, a role which even he admits can be very demanding.
