Mills CNC has launched a range of Heidenhain iTNC 530 controlled vertical machining centres. The machines are the latest addition to the CNC-controlled range of Doosan DNM vertical machines introduced into the UK market in 2008. The group hopes to target manufacturers who want to produce complex parts in small-to-medium volumes. Andrew Jack, technical director at Mills, estimates the UK market to be in the region of 130-150 machines per year.
