Mabey Bridge has secured a contract to supply wind turbine towers to the Dutch wind turbine company EWT. The five-year framework agreement will see Mabey Bridge producing steel tubular towers in a range of sizes from 40-75m in height. Alex Smale, UK director of Mabey Bridge, said: 'Our deal with EWT confirms our decision to transfer our expertise from bridge building to wind turbine tower manufacturer. It is another important milestone for us.'
