Building a better future

Engineers at Kent University are investigating methods of improving the wireless architecture of buildings and ways of better managing signal frequencies. Modem buildings such as shopping centres, hotels, airports and exhibition centres are increasingly reliant on wireless communications - not only mobile phones and Wi-Fi but RFID tagging, EDGE, Bluetooth and wireless CCTV.
