A new collaborative research project is aiming to design the next generation of motors for electric vehicles (EVs). Cobham Technical Services, working alongside Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Ricardo, hopes to eliminate the use of expensive magnetic materials in efficient, lightweight traction motors.
