Softbank has unveiled a smartphone to Japanese consumers that can measure radiation. According to AFP, the company's latest Pantone model is built with a sensor that lets users see how much radiation they are being exposed to. Due to go on sale in July, the smartphone can reportedly detect gamma rays in a range of 0.05-9.99 microsieverts per hour. Additionally, the phone can record exposure levels from every location its owner has visited.
