Oxford Nanopore Technologies has raised £31.4m in funding via a private placement of ordinary shares in the company. The privately held company is developing a disruptive technology for the real-time electronic analysis of single molecules. In a statement, Dr Gordon Sanghera, chief executive officer of Oxford Nanopore, said that the funding will support activities including expansion of the company's manufacturing capabilities and further R&D.
