Over the past two years, we've seen our website (www. theengineer.co.uk) turn into an ever-more dynamic forum for debate and discussion, while the immediacy of online journalism has given us a platform to engage with breaking news and to comment on the burning technology issues of the day in a manner that's simply not possible in a fortnightly magazine.
