Southern Electric Power Distribution has launched a £30m low-carbon network project to assess the way electricity networks react to decarbonisation.Local power networks will soon need to change in order to support changing usage brought about by the increase in energy-supplied from renewable sources and the emergence of new technologies such as electric vehicles.
