A survey of attitudes to maintenance conducted by The Engineerto coincide with this month's Maintec exhibition reveals some interesting differences of opinion on an area of engineering that has come under increasing scrutiny in recent years. Indeed, while 37.5 per cent of those responding cited maintenance and asset management as an invaluable part of their success, others were more ambivalent: 18.8 per cent described it as a necessary evil, while 14.1 per cent claimed it wasn't a priority for their business.
