BA leads in flight broadband race

Passengers on British Airways flights will be the first to begin usingthe new European Aviation Network (EAN), a dedicated broadband service for aircraft developed by Deutsche Telekom, Inmarsat and Nokia.The EAN service consists of S-band satellite-based and ground-based networks, and is designed to provide airline passengers with access to the same wireless internet speeds they are used to in the home.
