The Environment Agency intends to revamp its guidance on odour from integrated pollution prevention and control sites, after regulatory changes and concerns about the reliability of modelling odorous emissions.rnThe Environment Agency is consulting on radically altered guidance on odour management at installations covered by the integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) regime.rnThe 43-page document would replace 173 pages of guidance issued in 2002 for the entire UK (ENDS Report 333, pp 41-42). The revised guidance would apply to England and Wales only.
