A third of Great Britain’s amphibians and reptiles ‘at risk of extinction’

Almost one third of Great Britain’s amphibian and reptile species are threatened with the riskof extinction, according to a new report by the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust(ARC).With support from wildlife regulator Natural England, ARC undertook the first regional assessment of extinction riskusing the IUCN Red List method, a globally recognised approach.
